Shut Elbit Down trial begins "IndyWatch Feed Europe"

Two activists from Palestine Action who succeeded in occupying and shutting down UAV tactical Systems (U-tacS), an Israeli drone manufacturer in Leicester currently besieged by Palestine Action, will begin their trial today, charged with criminal damage over 8000. The 7-day trial started today on Monday 19th June and will take place at Leicester Crown Court.

The milestone action took place during May 2021 as the Israeli military bombarded Gaza using Elbits weaponry, murdering over 260 Palestinians, including 67 children. Once activists scaled the building, hundreds from the local community mobilised in support. The Leicester fire brigade were called by police to remove the activists from the roof of the factory, but...

BBCs Gritten promotes the falsehoods of a political NGO and a terror group "IndyWatch Feed War"

Anyone familiar with the BBCs Pavlovian self-recruitment to the provision of uncritical amplification for press releases and reports put out by assorted NGOs claiming to promote human rights would not have been surprised by the appearance on the BBC News websites Middle East page late on June 13th of an item by David Gritten headlined Amnesty: Possible war crimes in recent Israel-Gaza fighting.

As ever BBC audiences were told nothing of the anti-Israel record of Amnesty International including its support for BDS, its involvement in lawfare, its whitewashing of terrorism and its long-standing promotion of the falsehood that Israel practices apartheid before Gritten unquestioningly repeated its allegations and claims...

US, Israel defense ministers discuss anti-Iran alliance "ConflictWatch Feed Israel"

The Cradle | June 16, 2023

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant met with US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin on 15 June at the NATO summit in Brussels to discuss Iran and other important aspects of the US-Israel relationship, the Jerusalem Post reported.

Gallant discussed with Austin his claims that Iran stimulates attacks against Israel using proxies in Syria, Lebanon, Gaza, and the West Bank, and reiterated Israels right to self-defense, the Israeli paper said.

Before departing for Belgium, Gallant said he would discuss with Austin the implementation of the joint commitment of both our countries to make sure Iran will never possess nuclear military capabilities.

Israeli threats against Iran have intensified in recent months amid unconfirmed reports that Washington is close to reaching an interim or partial nuclear deal with Tehran through indirect talks in Oman.

Israel opposes a US nuclear deal with Iran, while Iranian officials have made clear they will only accept a full return to the nuclear deal signed with the Obama administration in 2015. The Trump administration withdrew from the deal, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), unilaterally in 2018. The JCPOA placed limits on Irans nuclear program in exchange for sanctions relief.

Despite US negotiations with Iran, the US military has expanded military cooperation with Israel this year and carried out exercises viewed as veiled threats against Iran, such as the Juniper Oak exercise in January.

The exercise involved 7,900 personnel, 142 combat aircraft, twelve warships, and activities across all domains (sea, air, land, space, and cyber). The main goals of the exercise were to improve interoperability and to demonstrate the ability to surge forces into the region in the event of war with Iran.

Reports emerged that the exercise simulated strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, though US officials denied this.

In March, Austin met with Gallant in Israel. At the time, Austin said that although the Biden administration continues to believe in diplomacy, it would not allow Iran to acquire a nuclear weapon.

Despite ongoing political differences between the Biden administration and the Israeli government regarding Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahus proposed l...

Israel: Palestinians arent ignoring the protest movement - theyre shut out

Protest leaders are stopping discussion of the occupation and Palestinian issues to make the demonstrations more 'mainstream'

Over 23 weeks of anti-government protests, Israel has been cast into a period of introspection, with Israelis grappling over what kind of country their home is becoming.

Jewish Israelis, that is. Conspicuously absent are Palestinian citizens of Israel, as well as any mention of the occupation of the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip.

Left-wing Israelis often refer to the 55-year-long occupation as the elephant in the room, due to peoples unwillingness to address an issue that asks awkward questions of Israel.

Perhaps at no time has this been more prevalent than the protest movement, which arose out of opposition to the Israeli governments controversial judicial reforms.

Further alienating Palestinian citizens from the protests is the lack of reference to the wave of murders in their communities.
