CBDCs: A weapon for debanking the banked "IndyWatch Feed Africa"

In March 2022, President Biden signed an Executive Order directing government agencies to urgently research and develop a potential US central bank digital currency (CBDC) "in a manner that protects Americans' interests." It also encouraged the Federal Reserve Bank to continue doing so. And it isn't just the Biden Administration in the United States working in such a direction. As of the time of writing, CBDCTracker.org lists three countries or regions with retail CBDCs already "launched" (Bahamas, Jamaica and Nigeria), another five in "pilot" stage, and another twenty in "proof of concept" stage. Many more have at least researched wholesale CBDCs. ("Wholesale" CBDCs are intended for commercial and central bank use and the like, while "retail" CBDCs are intended for the rest of us). A report by the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) released just this month summarizes the results of a survey of 86 central banks and concludes that "there could be 15 retail and nine wholesale...

Inconsistency in BBC descriptions of the location of two shooting attacks "IndyWatch Feed War"

On the morning of July 25th a shooting attack took place on Mount Gerizim:

Three Palestinian gunmen, claimed as members of the Hamas terror group, were killed by Israeli forces while attempting to attack a small Samaritan community in the northern West Bank on Tuesday morning, the military said.

The exchange of fire took place in the Mount Gerizim area, just south of Nablus, and close to the Jewish settlement of Har Bracha. The area is home to a tiny community of Samaritans, known as Shomronim in Hebrew.

According to the Israel Defense Forces, a car with the three gunmen arrived in the area, and two got out and opened fire at troops of the 603rd Combat Engineering Battalion who were guarding an army post at the entrance gate to the Samaritan community.

Later the same day, the BBC News website published a report by Raffi Berg headlined Palestinian gunmen killed near West Bank Samaritan community. Some five hours later that report was updated to include information concerning the Hamas affiliations of the perpetrators:

The official Palestinian Wafa news agency said Israeli forces took away the bodies of the men, who it said were...

Her family and friends are devastated and have requested privacy at this very difficult time.

Sympathy for the Palestinians

In September 2014, only a few months after a bloody Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, the Grammy award-winner canceled a concert in Caesarea, a town located halfway between Tel Aviv and Haifa.

Speaking with Hot Press at the time to explain her stance, OConnor said:

Nobody with any sanity, including myself, would have anything but sympathy for the Palestinian plight.

Theres not a sane person on earth who in any way sanctions what the f**k the Israeli authorities are doing, she added.

Personal Life

Born Sinead Marie Bernadette OConnor in Glenageary, the singer had a difficult childhood. Mental health struggles played a significant rol...

Representatives of major clans in the besieged Gaza Strip held a national conference demanding a comprehensive national plan to confront the Israeli occupation.

This conference was a rare occurrence since political meetings of this nature are often confined to political groups, such as Hamas, Fatah, and other socialist, Islamic and nationalist parties.

In a statement issued at the end of the conference, the leaders of the clans reiterated their full support of the Resistance in the occupied West Bank.

They also demanded that the Palestinian Authority stop its political arrests of Palestinian activists in the West Bank.

In the statement, the groups also called for the immediate formation of an inclusive Palestinian National Council, with elections at home and abroad.

I See You at the Graveyard: Gaza Horror Stories You Are Now Allowed to Know "ConflictWatch Feed Palestine"

According to the Gaza Ministry of Social Development, 459 families were displaced as a result of the Israeli war. They are now homeless, totaling 2,516 people, including 1,180 children.

On May 9, Israel attacked Gaza with ferocity. For five days, it bombed the besieged Strip, killing 33 Palestinians and wounding hundreds more. Much of that horror, however, was not shown on television.

On May 13, 2023, the Nabhan family received a phone call from the Israeli army, warning them of an imminent bombing of their residence, located in the neighborhood of Jabalia, in the besieged Gaza Strip.

Falestine and Belal Nabhan are both 35. They have four children with special needs. That harrowing call terrorized them.

We were having dinner when the Israeli army called us and ordered us to evacuate our house in ten minutes, Falestine told The Palestine Chronicle.

Gripped by fear, I hastily dressed myself on the staircase. I also forgot to wear my hijab, Falestine continued.

Her husband Belal told us that his first thoughts were focused only on the children.

We only had ten minutes to leave our house, he said. Even for a healthy person this is hardly enough, imagine for a person with disabilities.

I was not even able to take their medications and wheelchairs with me, Belal said, with the sadness of that moment still lingering.

The Nabhan familys house, once filled with cherished memories, now lies in ruins. The family is now homeless.

Where can we seek refuge? My disabled children did not deserve such a fate, Falestine told us, in tears.

The Nabhan family remains without shelt...
